1. Who We Are
Ocean Motion Shop is your go-to destination for quality surf gear, operated from our headquarters at 1051 Smith Road, Atlanta, US 30303. We specialize in boards, wetsuits, and everything you need to catch the perfect wave.
2. Our Customers
We cater to surf enthusiasts of all levels – from groms to seasoned wave riders. Our products are designed for those who live for the ocean and need reliable gear that performs as hard as they do.
3. Website Use
3.1 Access
You’re welcome to browse our site for personal, non-commercial use. Don’t try to hack it, spam it, or otherwise mess with its operation – that’s not cool.
3.2 Account Responsibility
If you create an account, keep your login details secure. You’re responsible for all activity under your account. Let us know immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.
3.3 Intellectual Property
All content on our site (logos, product designs, photos, etc.) is owned by us or our partners. Don’t copy, modify, or distribute it without our written permission.
4. Products & Orders
4.1 Product Information
We do our best to accurately describe our boards, wetsuits, and gear, but colors may vary slightly due to screen differences. Product specs are subject to change as we improve our offerings.
4.2 Order Process
When you place an order, you’re making an offer to buy. We’ll send an order confirmation, but the deal isn’t final until we ship your items. We reserve the right to cancel orders for any reason.
4.3 Pricing
All prices are in USD. While we check our prices carefully, errors may occur. If we discover an error in your order’s price, we’ll contact you before processing.
5. Payment
We accept Visa, MasterCard, JCB, and PayPal. Payment is due when you order. By providing payment info, you confirm you’re authorized to use that payment method.
6. Shipping
6.1 Processing Time
We’ll process your order within 1-2 business days (excluding weekends/holidays). You’ll get tracking info once it ships.
6.2 Shipping Options
- Standard Shipping ($12.95): Via DHL or FedEx, delivered in 10-15 business days after shipping
- Free Shipping: For orders over $50 via EMS, delivered in 15-25 business days after shipping
6.3 Delivery Areas
We currently don’t ship to some parts of Asia and remote locations. If unsure about your area, email us at [email protected] before ordering.
7. Returns & Exchanges
7.1 Return Policy
Not stoked with your gear? No worries! Most items can be returned within 15 days of delivery for a refund or exchange, provided:
- Items are unused with all original tags attached
- Original packaging is included (especially important for boards/wetsuits)
- Proof of purchase is provided
7.2 Non-Returnable Items
For hygiene reasons, these can only be returned if the original hygiene liner is intact and unused:
- Junior Wetsuits
- Mens Wetsuits
- Lycras
7.3 Return Process
- Email [email protected] within 15 days with your order number and reason
- We’ll respond within 2 business days with return instructions and RMA number
- Pack items securely (original packaging preferred)
- Ship to: Ocean Motion Shop Returns, 1051 Smith Road, Atlanta, US 30303
7.4 Refunds
Refunds are processed within 5 business days after we receive and inspect your return. Original shipping fees aren’t refundable. Allow additional time for your bank to process the refund.
8. Damaged or Defective Items
If your gear arrives damaged (total bummer!):
- Contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos
- We’ll arrange replacement/refund and cover all shipping costs
- Don’t use damaged equipment – it may void your return eligibility
9. Liability
We’re not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from product use. Our total liability for any claim related to our products/services is limited to the purchase price paid.
10. Safety Notice
Surfing involves inherent risks. Properly maintain and use your gear according to manufacturer guidelines. We’re not responsible for injuries resulting from product misuse.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. The current version will always be posted here with the “Last Updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Georgia state laws. Any disputes will be resolved in Atlanta courts.
